A professional dance instructor Mr. Herbert Alvarez from Philippines will be invited to host a 6-day folk dance workshop. 1-3 members of the participant groups in the competition will learn the dance steps from the teacher, and create a dance based on the steps of the folk dance to participate in the Creative Folk Dance Competition.
主辦單位邀請來自菲律賓的民族舞蹈老師，前來舉行6天的舞蹈工作營。參加者學習了由菲律賓老師所教授的舞蹈，並將所學習的舞蹈，以自己的方式，編創成一支舞蹈作品，參加於2016年6月11日晚上7時30分在詩巫江濱公園舞台舉行的《創意民族舞蹈比賽》。

This is a group performance event. Only the participant in group will be accepted. One group one participation under the name of one organization.
本舞蹈舞蹈營只接受有意參加舞蹈營最後一天即6月11日在詩巫江濱公園舞台舉行的《創意民族舞蹈比賽》團隊的代表。一個團隊只可以派一支隊伍參加。 |

The representatives of the participant groups will learn the dance steps from the teacher and create a new dance based on the dance movement and character of the dance to participate in the dance competition.
參加隊伍學習了菲律賓老師所教授的民族舞蹈的動作後，可以根據老師所傳授的動作，自行配上合適的音樂，或是與其他的舞蹈結合，發展成一支新的舞蹈作品，參加《創意民族舞蹈比賽》。

Only the dance created based on the dance steps taught by the Philippines dance teacher in the dance workshop is eligible to the competition.
參加隊伍必須是根據菲律賓老師在舞蹈工作營中學習的舞蹈動作來發展而成的舞蹈作品。

Only 1-3 members of each group that have registered to the competition will be accepted to join the dance workshop.
所有有意參加比賽的隊伍，可以委派1至3人參加6月5日至10日的舞蹈《民族舞蹈工作營》。

Participant groups will have to pay RM200 deposit to the organizer for registration. The RM200 of deposit will be refunded after the competition. However, those who didn’t turn up for the competition, the deposit will be not be refunded.
參加舞蹈比賽的隊伍，必須繳交RM200作為押金。比賽結束後，將歸還所有押金。臨時退出比賽者，押金不可要求退還。

Duration of the dance: 4-6 minutes
參賽舞蹈時間限定：4-6分鐘。

Number of the dancers: 6-10
參賽人數限定：6-10人。

Music on a good quality individual CD (or USB). Each individual CD must be properly labeled. One CD (disc) for each choreography, with only one song. CDs can take back after award ceremony.
參賽音樂可以CD或是Pendrive儲存，並表示參加隊伍名稱與舞蹈名稱，並在頒獎典禮過後取回。一個光碟或是Pendrive, 只能存放一首音樂。

All hand carried props are allowed except sharp objects, fire in any form, and all kind of liquid.
除了手持道具，本舞蹈比賽不接受放置佈景。比賽所使用的道具不包括尖銳帶刺，可燃性與液體狀的物品。

One minute will be allowed in addition for setup and strike of props.
每個隊伍在比賽前後，都有一分鐘時間放置與撤走道具。

The organizer Hornland Dance Theatre is not responsible for personal injury or property loss to participants or spectators.
比賽期間參賽者或是觀賞者有任何發生，或是有貴重物品遺失，主辦單位一概不負責。

Judging: A panel of experienced and competent judges will judge all performances and decisions of the judges are final.
評審：將邀請三位舞蹈專業人士擔任評審。評審的最後決定，即是比賽的成績。

| 13. |
Participants give their permission to the organizer of Hornland Dance Theatre to use their photographs or videos in connection with advertising and news coverage of the competition.
主辦單位有權使用在比賽或工作營期間所拍攝的照片作為宣傳只用。

| 14. |
The organizer will set the stage with light and sound system. Participants have to take care of their own accommodation, meals, transportation, costume, and other preparation works related to the competition.
參加者必須自備住宿、餐飲、交通、服裝與其他與舞蹈比賽相關的費用，主辦單位只負責比賽所需的場地、燈光與音響。

Criteria: Points will be awarded to Techniuqe 40%, Theme and Content 15%, Creativity 15%, Music15%, Costume 15%.
評分標準：舞技40%、內容 15%、創意15%、配樂15%、造型15%。

Award: The participant groups not exceed six groups, only the best group will be awarded with RM1000 and certificate. The 1 Runner Up with RM500 and certificate will be given out if the participant is exceeding 6 groups.
獎項：如果參加隊伍不超過六支，只錄取一名：
冠軍--RM1000+獎狀一張
如果參加隊伍超過六支，將錄取兩名：
冠軍--RM1000+獎狀一張；
亞軍—RM500+獎狀一張
