Press Conference of Sibu International Dance Festival – Jejak Angin 2022 was held on the 10th May 2022 at RH Hotel, Sibu by Hornland Dance Theatre.

The 9th Edition of Sibu International Dance Festival (SIDF)  is supported by Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak.
It will be organize from 9 – 11 June 2022. The Dance Workshops will be held at RH Hotel on the 10-11 of June followed by the Dance Concert in the evening at Sibu Civic Centre. For Outdoor Perfomance, it will be held at the Sibu Central Market.

犀江舞蹈團為民辦的非盈利組織，迄今已連續8年主辦國際性的舞蹈節。

今年安排了三場演出。
1) 第一場是8月14日11點30分
地点：诗巫中央市場的第3到入口處
2）8月14下午5點開始
地点：詩巫遺產中心
個由8個團隊聯合呈獻.約兩個小時的演出。
还有户外写生比赛。
3) 是8月17日（星期六）早上11點30分
地点：詩巫中央市場第3道入口處

We always have free entrance to all Outdoor Performances to the public in Sibu International Dance Festival annually.
This year we have 3 outdoor shows.
1) 14 Aug, 11:30am
Venue: 3rd entrance of Central Market, Sibu
2) 14 Aug, 5:00pm
Venue: Sibu Heritage Centre
There will be 8 dance troupes performing, performance will take about 2 hours.
3) 17 Aug, 11:30am
Venue: 3rd entrance of Central Market, Sibu

SIDF 8th edition is drawing near!
The press conference of Sibu International Dance Festival (SIDF) was held at 7:30pm yesterday on 11 July, in RH Hotel Sibu. Present was the SIDF executive director Mdm Wong Siaw Siong, festival director Mr. Chen Ing Kuan, and the two advisors Datin Judy Lau and Mr. Tiong Yiong Ching. About 50 people from the press media and friends attended the conference.

♯Performing groups from 14 countries♯
There will be 14 countries of dance groups coming to perform in 4 dance concerts, 2 experimental theatres, 2 outdoor performances, 1 of about two-hour of outdoor site-specific performance at Sibu Heritage Centre, 12 workshops and 5 seminars. Audience will be able to watch different forms of performance, with different themes, collaborations from different borders, and there are even some groups bringing along their live instruments. All of these performances are going to be showcased for the first time in Sibu, Sarawak.

♯Free workshop and seminar to students♯
This year, we encourage the participation of the secondary and undergraduate students in SIDF workshop and seminar programs. Not only will they enjoy free admission, but will also get a free ticket to the night dance concert after completing the program. Final date of registration will be on the 5th August.

♯Outdoor drawing competition♯
Outdoor drawing competition is open to everyone, and the outdoor performances are still free and open to the public. Registration form is available at SIDF website.

♯Special tickets for early birds♯
The early bird ticket RM20 and RM50 to dance concert is now happening until 28th July and only available for purchase online through http://sidfestival.com/tickets-2019/. After the date, ticket will be RM30 and RM60 respectively.
